ISO seminar on Greenhouse gas quantification, reporting and verification

This standard specifies the principles and requirements for quantifying and reporting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals at the organizational level. It includes the design, development, management, reporting and validation of the organization's GHG inventory requirements.
ISO 14064 series standards are neutral for greenhouse gas projects. If the GHG project scheme is applicable, the GHG project requirements will be added to the ISO 14064 series of standards.

The principles and requirements for designing, developing, managing and reporting an organization-level GHG inventory are described in detail. It includes defining GHG emission and removal boundaries, quantifying the organization's GHG emissions and removals, and identifying requirements for specific corporate actions or activities aimed at improving GHG management. It also includes requirements and guidance for inventory quality management, reporting, internal audit, and the organization's duty in verification activities.

Greenhouse gases - Part 2: Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reductions or removal enhancements
 
The principles and requirements for baseline determination and project emission monitoring, quantification and reporting are described in detail. It focuses on GHG projects or project-based activities specifically designed for GHG emission reduction and/or removal enhancement. It provides a basis for the verification and validation of greenhouse gas projects.

Greenhouse gases - Part 3: Specification with guidance for the validation and verification of greenhouse gas assertions
 
Detailed requirements for verification of GHG declarations relating to GHG inventories, GHG projects and product carbon footprints. It describes the verification and validation process, including verification and validation plans, evaluation procedures, and GHG stated evaluations of organizations, projects, and products.
